Welcome to The Maid of Money

Just to introduce you to The Maid of Money.

Written by Amanda Geary PhD, the focus of the articles written and shared here are to take an alternative perspective on the real challenges of tidying up your finances and aiming to clean up when it comes to wealth and career success. In sum: it is not as easy as the many messages out there and here we unpick a series of topical challenges around money management and perceptions of success.

What is The Maid of Money?

In a world where we get so many messages about financial wellness and freedom, about six-figure goals, get-quick-rich schemes, and financial freedom, this newsletter seeks to navigate how easy it is not to make money and explores the pitfalls and issues that can arise for those seeking to follow the path to financial freedom.

The ethos behind the term The Maid of Money is not about being a slave to money or living to serve through work. It is all about having a tidy and orderly approach to managing your finances in a sustainable way that is workable for women. As part of that approach, the issue includes being informed and organised when it towards career goals and ambitions.

However, there are many challenges along the way and it is a lot easier to not make money in the first place or to make it and then lose it. The Maid Of Money is all about having honest and open discussions about financial poor health.

What The Maid of Money is not…

The Maid of Money does not offer financial advice, nor is Amanda a licensed financial adviser.

Material shared here is to promote discussion and debate. It is for informational and educational purposes and is not financial advice.

And although it strives to be balanced, accurate and objective as a media platform, views expressed are opinions and pieces of journalism that are designed to be thought-provoking and constructive for women when it comes to issue around money and financial wellness.
